The world’s most valuable scotch isn’t from Scotland!

Why Japan could rival Scotland in the single malt stakes

Welcome! 👋

Did you know that scotch isn’t just Scottish?

In fact, some of the world’s best scotch is now made in far-flung places like Ireland, United States, and Japan.

Japanese whisky is particularly tasty.

According to reports, Japanese whisky prices were appreciated by over 500% last year and have increased by over 1,000% in the past decade.

A bottle of rare 25-year-old Yamazaki just sold for the mouth-watering sum of £300,000 (approximately $360,000).

Global demand is increasing by 17% a year as collectors around the world discover the magic.

We think the Karuizawa Geisha series is a particularly strong choice.

Made in Japan since 1955, bottles are hard to get and snapped up almost immediately when you can find them.

Karuizawa’s whiskies capture the essence of Scottish malt, yet they stand out with their unique character.

Filtered through lava, the water used at the distillery adds a distinct touch. The extreme climate, with scorching summers and freezing winters, creates a one-of-a-kind maturation profile that sets Karuizawa apart.

We've just sold our last few bottles of the Geishas, but don't worry — we've already placed an order for 10 more cases!

As usual, thanks for reading.

I’m so glad you’re here.

Cheers,
