The oldest Macallan to ever be released to the public
200 years in the making, The Macallan breaks records again
Welcome! 👋
There are two kinds of whisky in the world today.
The up-and-comings and the undisputed champions.
Introducing the latter.
To mark its 200-year anniversary, The Macallan has only gone and broken records - again - by releasing the oldest whisky ever made available to the public.
The “OG” of Scottish distilleries has recently introduced two exquisite releases in the TIME: SPACE collection.
The first release, TIME: SPACE, is a groundbreaking dual chamber with a retro spaceship-esque design featuring two distinct single malts, one inside the other.
TIME: SPACE
One chamber is an 84-year-old whisky, the oldest ever released by The Macallan, while the other is the first whisky from The Macallan’s new distillery, launched in 2018.
It’s not just the design that blows you away; it’s the flavour.
The TIME: SPACE 1940 Vintage offers dark chocolate-coated ginger, sticky dates, aged leather, and antique oak, with subtle hints of coffee, bottled at 43.4% ABV.
The TIME: SPACE 2018 bursts with fresh notes of green apple, ripe pears, sticky toffee, vanilla custard, and soft wood spice, bottled at 54.9% ABV.
Only 200 bottles exist.
The second release, TIME: SPACE Mastery, offers a unique single malt housed in a distinctively crafted vessel symbolising the circle of life and the continuous process of whisky making.

On the nose, rich aromas of Medjool dates, baked figs, and milk chocolate mingle with hints of honey and tropical fruits.
The packaging for both releases is breathtaking, to say the least, with The Macallan’s signature red hue and a bold design featuring 200 spikes.
While the spikes may seem a little odd at first, they are rich with symbolism.
Representing 200 years of The Macallan’s legacy, the spikes evoke nature’s defence mechanisms and resilience, mirroring the thorny, thistle-strewn Scottish landscape.
This collection is a super limited edition, record-holding release, only available via invite.
Previously, the oldest release was The Macallan’s The Reach, an 81-year-old single malt.
Only 288 bottles were ever produced, and guess what? We managed to get our hands on one of those, too!
It’s a dream come true to offer two of The Macallan’s oldest releases to our valued clients.
Get in touch if you’d like to reserve yours.
We look forward to speaking with you soon.
As always, cheers!
