Price doesn’t equal quality. And we’ve got a wine to prove it.

How to get bragging rights without a hefty price tag

Welcome! 👋

Many collectors I know love showing off their latest expensive finds.

“I spent this much on a bottle”, they’ll say with pride.

And don’t get me wrong, I can definitely relate.

However, while these bottles may be expensive (and rare), that doesn’t always mean they are the best quality.

Or the most collectible.

Have you heard of the “price-placebo effect”?

It means that the price of a product can significantly influence our perception of quality — especially when it comes to wine.

We subconsciously assume that a higher price tag guarantees a better experience.

I know I’ve fallen for the “oh, it’s expensive, therefore it’s better” game.

I mean, who hasn’t?

Here’s what I’m getting at here: you shouldn’t be looking for the most expensive bottle on the market right now.

Instead, you should be looking for…

  • Authenticity & Story: Look for wines with a unique backstory or craftsmanship that adds depth to the experience.

  • Taste & Personal Preference: Focus on wines that match your personal taste rather than just high-priced labels.

  • Sustainability: Consider wines from sustainable or biodynamic vineyards for an ethical, high-quality choice.

  • Value for Money: Seek wines that deliver exceptional quality without the hefty price tag.

At Oeno, our team works tirelessly to source wines that we can sell to our clients well below market average.

We want our clients to get their hands on bottles that won’t break the bank. That’s our mission.

And I believe we’ve succeeded.

We’ve managed to source 31 cases of T-OINOS Clos Stegasta Assyrtiko, one of the finest wines on the market today.

T-OINOS Clos Stegasta Assyrtiko

The Clos Stegasta Assyrtiko from T-Oinos winery has put Tinos well and truly on the map for Greece and is among some of the world’s top terroirs.

At £53.18 a bottle, I promise you won’t find this wine at a better price anywhere else.

Our clients have already started putting their orders in, so get in quick if you’d like to reserve one.
