The collector's dream: Your annual Bordeaux opportunity awaits
Grab this opportunity now the time is right.
Welcome! 👋
It’s the stuff of dreams.
At least for savvy wine collectors anyway.
Let me explain.
Imagine how great it would be if you could taste the world’s finest wines before they’re bottled.
You'd know instantly which vineyards have the most promise and which bottles have the best appreciation potential.
I’m talking, of course, about En Primeur.
If you’ve been at this game for a while, like I have, chances are you’ll have heard of the Bordeaux En Primeur campaign. And I know you’ve had an email or two from the Oeno team about it over the last couple of weeks.
I want you to understand how special this opportunity is.
Which is why I’m writing to you again.
Buying en primeur gives you the opportunity to buy the world’s most exceptional wines at release price, meaning substantially below what the same wines may cost when bottled. And you get exactly one chance a year to do it.
Most people don’t know where to look.
That’s where we come in.
First, you may be wondering why you should consider buying en primeur.
It may be:
Purely for financial gain, either for resale or profit.
Out of sentimental connection to specific châteaux.
To build a rare wine collection (including limited editions made in chateaux in sought-after regions).
To buy great wines at cheap rates for consumption.
To cellar cases in unique formats, such as singles (1.5 litres) or double magnums (3 litres).
Whatever the reason, my advice is to make sure it’s an investment in pleasure.
Personally, I love buying en primeur because doing so allows me to drink some of my favourite wines from my favourite châteaux while supporting the fantastic winemakers and growers who make it possible.
En primeur sales offer the châteaux upfront cash flow and guaranteed sales of the vintage. Which, in turn, helps them fund the year’s harvest and improve vineyard conditions, too.
It’s a win-win for both consumers and winemakers alike.
Now, I’ve done the hard work of selecting the good stuff and got a fantastic selection of en primeur vintages.
We sold 75% of our allotment within 24 hours of our last email so please don’t delay if you’re interested.
Cheers,
