John and Barb, the fifth-generation farmers behind Black Fox, have perfected a unique "crop to connoisseur" approach. They grow their own grains, including a very rare grain—triticale—and oversee the entire whisky-making process. 

Their dedication has earned them more gold medals than any other Canadian distillery in recent years.

The whisky is aged outdoors, where temperatures range from minus 40 to plus 40 degrees Celsius. This extreme variation creates a delicious, spicy, yet delicate flavour with hints of clove, cinnamon, and cherry.
